Thomas Ameyaw brings an international perspective, strong litigation foundation, and a commitment to advocacy. Originally from Ghana, Thomas’s pursuit of legal excellence has taken him across continents, providing him with a unique perspective shaped by the English, Ghanaian, and American legal systems. He earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Ghana and his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) with Honors from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He later continued his legal studies in the United States, earning his Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law.
During his legal studies, Thomas developed a legal research platform that consolidated relevant English, Ghanaian, and American case law, statutes, and legislation to support the study of law in Ghana. The platform was subsequently adopted by his alma mater as an educational resource to enhance legal research and legal instruction.
Thomas has gained valuable experience working with leading litigation firms across California and Texas, where he developed a strong foundation in legal research, case analysis, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. His experience handling complex civil matters has provided him with a practical understanding of the litigation process and reinforced the importance of thorough preparation, attention to detail, and effective advocacy.
Outside of practicing law, Thomas enjoys playing soccer (football), traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
