Bio

Brian Merka was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He received is bachelor’s degree from Baylor University in Waco and graduated from the prestigious Baylor Interdisciplinary Core Honors Program. After college, Brian worked in the auto industry and helped manage customer service and marketing for one of the largest auto dealerships in south Texas. He then returned to Houston to attend South Texas College of Law. At South Texas College of Law, Brian was drawn to trial advocacy and competed in many intramural tournaments. During law school, he Brian interned at the Harris County District Attorney’s office and was able to witness some of the best advocates in the state in the courtroom on a daily basis. He knew that he had it in him to stand up for those who couldn’t do so for themselves and be a great trial lawyer. As an attorney, Brian combines his dedication to hard work and client service to deliver the highest level of representation. Brian is an avid rugby player and is a member of the Arrows Rugby Football Club. When not working hard in the office, he also enjoys outdoor activities like hunting and fishing.
