Thompson Du



Thompson was born in Taichung, Taiwan and moved to the United States at the age of two. He has lived all over the DFW Metroplex in cities like Richardson, Carrollton, Euless, The Colony, Dallas, and Denton. Thompson went to the University of North Texas where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Communication Studies in 2013. He then went on to work for various companies before returning to school as a law student in 2018. Thompson graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law where he served as 1L Class Representative. During his law school career, he interned for the Honorable Judge Renee Toliver of the US Northern District of Texas, for the Honorable Judge Tina Yoo Clinton of the Texas Criminal District Judge Dallas County - Court 1, for the Honorable Dale Tillery of the 134th Civil District Court, the Dallas City Attorney’s Office, the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, and the Dallas County Public Defender’s Office. He has also worked as a law clerk for various personal injury firms in Dallas. For fun, Thompson loves playing video games, basketball, and working out and spending time with his wife and dog. He has a passion for serving others and is proud to be a litigation attorney with Daspit Law Firm.
