Rick was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Rick graduated from Douglas MacArthur High School. Rick graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a B.A. degree in Criminal Justice, with minors in Legal Studies and Political Science. While at the University of Texas at San Antonio Rick participated in the Summer Law School Preparation Academy offered by The Institute for Law and Public Affairs which improved his writing skills and gave him great networking opportunities to pursue law school. Rick graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. While at Thomas M. Cooley Rick made the Dean’s List and the honor roll. Rick was also President of the Mock Trial Board and Vice President of the Moot Court Board. Rick is licensed to practice law in Texas and Florida. Rick began his legal career in Tampa, Florida as an Assistant State Attorney for the State Attorney’s Office for the 13th Judicial Circuit where he conducted numerous jury trials and non-jury trials. This began his passion for helping and being an advocate for victims of crimes. Rick finally got homesick and returned to San Antonio. Rick developed an interest in personal injury law and has used his past experience helping victims of crimes to now helping and advocating for injured clients. In his free time, Rick enjoys spending time with family and friends, developing his faith, and loves sports, music and movies.
