Michael C. Mendoza was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Growing up with a blue-collar family in the inner city, he was no stranger to hard work. As a first-generation college student, he remained committed to accomplishing his educational goals while also overcoming negative influences that were often alluring to adolescents within his community. Avoiding the influences from the gang, drug, and overall street culture, he stayed on the right side of the law and steadfastly remains committed to bringing a positive influence into his community. During college, Michael pursued his bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in criminal justice at California State University, Long Beach. After completing his undergraduate studies, he continued his education at the Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana while spending summers in his hometown clerking at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office for three years. While attending Southern University, Michael made the dean’s list and received the highest grade in his constitutional law course. Michael is passionate about the community and mentoring. His knowledge in constitutional, tort, and criminal law is a testament to his zealous pursuit of justice for his clients.
