Attorney Derek Fadner is a native Texan who spent his early childhood years in Corpus Christi, Texas, before returning to his birthplace of Houston, Texas at the age of twelve. After completing high school, Derek’s intense desire to serve his country and others led him to enlist in the United States Marine Corps. While serving in the Marine Corps, Derek experienced firsthand the level of commitment, hard work, and sacrifice needed to achieve success. Derek now applies these lessons as an attorney while representing clients suffering from personal injuries.
After four years of dedicated service to our nation, Derek transitioned back to civilian life and began pursuing his education. Derek attended Texas A&M University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications. Derek then returned home to Houston where he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law. While in law school, Derek competed in multiple national moot court competitions as a part of the school’s nationally ranked trial advocacy program. Derek received several awards as an advocate and brief writer, including the Dean T. Gerald Treece “Heart of the South Texas Advocate” Award for exemplifying the spirit and dedication of the South Texas Advocacy program.
Derek’s ongoing commitment to service drives his pursuit of justice on behalf of his clients, and he is committed to providing assistance to those who need it most.
When not advocating on his client’s behalf, Derek spends his time enjoying the company of his lovely wife and children.
