Attorney Chase Barker is a native Texan who grew up north of Houston. Chase comes from a long line of Aggie graduates, earning his bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University in Agribusiness.
Before attending law school, Chase worked as a Legislative Aide at the Texas State Capitol. There he monitored and assisted with legislation that went through both the Public Education committee and the State Affairs committee.
After his experience at the Texas State Capitol, he attended South Texas College of Law receiving his Juris Doctor. While at South Texas College of Law, he participated in mock trial, moot court and was extensively involved with the Board of Advocates. As a law student, he clerked for a civil district judge and a civil litigation firm in Houston.
Chase is an active member of Austin Young Lawyers Association, a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and a volunteer for the Grand Entry Committee. In his free time, Chase enjoys hunting, hiking, and almost anything outdoors.
